YOUTH PROJECT
EDUCATING YOUTH
We foster humane education in our high schools and middle schools in New York City and Puerto Rico.
A correlation between animal abuse, family violence and other forms of community violence has
been established.
A law was passed to implement the humane treatment of animals into the school curriculum in New York however, currently there is no law that enforces this education. It is up to the alumni of our schools and future generations to take this on.
HAND IN HAND
Kids exposed to inhumane treatment themselves, such as violence, abuse, homelessness etc. will benefit greatly from the nurturing relationships they create for animals and themselves.
The children will learn about how they can make a difference in an animals life and how animals can make a huge difference in theirs. Helping to create a sense of self and purpose amongst these children in which there is a shortage of unconditional love.
